EMSIS Certifications is a licensure and certification package that runs on the State's database server. Its main purpose is to license and certify EMS Providers and their vehicles and personnel. When maintained properly and used in conjunction with EMSIS Data Manager and EMSIS Provider, EMSIS Certifications becomes a very powerful proactive data management tool.
The information collected in EMSIS Certifications is applied against incidents as they are submitted and notifies the EMS Provider and the State when an agency's, individual's, or vehicle's certification has expired, helping to prevent unauthorized entities from administering medical care.
